Madrid-Barajas Airport is dominated by the national carrier, Iberia along with the largest Spanish charter airline, Air Europa. A number of European airlines as well as a few South American airlines also use the airport.

Unfortunately there are not many places to view and take photographs from. If a car is available there is a place known as ‘the mound’ overlooking Terminal 4 and the two northern most runways. Without transport it is a fair walk from the nearest train station. All the photographs in this gallery were taken from ‘the mound’.
