2011 saw me taking part in an evening/night shoot at North Weald aerodrome. Mainly with the objective of taking photographs of old jet trainers, although a few other aircraft were present.

Royal Flying Corps Station North Weald Bassett aerodrome was established in the summer of 1916. It was an important fighter station during the Battle of Britain. 1964, the RAF withdrew from the aerodromecompletely. The aerodrome was used by both the Army and Royal Navy for a short time until in 1979, when it became a civil aerodrome. It is now the home of North Weald Airfield Museum.
