The Suomen Ilmailumuseon at Helsinki is walkable from the airport terminal. It takes about 15 to 20 minutes, although it is one stop on the train from the terminal.
Again, a very dark museum and once more the aircraft are really tightly packed together in two halls. This museum covers mostly Finish aviation and there are types on show that I’d not heard of before. The main reason for me coming to this museum were the DC-3s, Convair 440, Lodestar and Beaver.
