September 2011 saw me in Majorca for five days. As I was staying at the resort of Ca’ n Pastilla, the opportunity was taken to spend a couple of hours each morning by the old gun emplacements just a few minutes walk from the hotel to catch a few aircraft as they came in to land from over the sea.
Most of the European charter operators could be seen in plentiful numbers as would be expected for a holiday resort.
