Fairbanks is an unusual airport in that it has the main passenger terminal and freight airlines on one side, in the middle a lake for float planes and on the other side are the General Aviation and small charter companies. This does of course make for a good mix of aircraft.
It is the main base for Everts, so a good proportion of propliners can be seen. Also the Brooks Aviation ramp still holds an assortment of propliners in various conditions.
While not a busy airport, if you want to see propliners, as long as prior permission is sought, ramp access can be granted on certain ramps.
