The Technik Museum is another museum within reach of Frankfurt that is well worth a visit. It is about an hour and a quarter from Frankfurt airport and an hour from the Auto Technik Museum at Sinsheim. Both museums can be visited in a day if so wished.
Again at Speyer there is a collection of various vehicles including cars, aircraft and boats along with a variety of other objects. The museum is known to display a Boeing 747 and an Antonov 22. A lot of the aircraft are mounted on poles or either hanging from the ceiling.
