East Kirkby Aviation Museum is based on the old RAF East Kirkby airfield. It is principally home to Avro Lancaster NX611, ‘Just Jane’. This Lancaster occasionally performs engine and taxi runs. It is hoped to get this aircraft airworthy at some point. It is also home to De Havilland Mosquito HJ711 which also performs engine runs.
The airfield, also known as The Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre, is also a memorial to all those who served from here during WW2 and houses a range of artefacts and period buildings. A couple of the buildings are shown in this gallery.
