The Aviodrome at Lelystad is about a one hour train journey from Amsterdam and then a short bus or taxi ride. It takes about forty five minutes by road transport depending on traffic.
This museum almost went bankrupt at the end of 2011 but was saved at the last minute. It is a museum well worth visiting if in the area.
