Hay River Airport is a small regional airport that has to be said is not very busy. The reason for the visit was to see and photograph the DC-4s of Buffalo Airways that are stored there. Our arrival and departure was on a chartered Buffalo Airways DC-3 flown by ‘Buffalo’ Joe McBryan. Since my last visit the aircraft seem to be parked more closely together making photography that little bit more difficult. Along with the DC-4s was the newly acquired swing tailed DC-6.
