Anchorage is the main international airport in Alaska. Based right next to Lake Hood there are a number of points round the airport to view from.
While the traffic in passenger traffic has dropped off due to increased range of passenger aircraft it is still a large cargo hub. Most of the major airlines cargo aircraft pass through here and Federal Express and UPS have large hubs based here.
Along with this there is a variety of regional aircraft and a few executive jets, while there are still a few propliners to be seen operating out of here.
