Beaulieu is set in the heart of the New Forest National Park. and is home to National Motor Museum, a stunning collection of automobiles and motor bikes telling the history of motoring from the beginings to F1 Grand Prix machines. Also in the grounds is Palace House, home of the Montagu family and the historic Beaulieu Abbey which was founded in 1204 by Cistercian Monks.
Contained in this gallery are photographs taken on a visit to the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu. While there are many fasinating cars at this museum the way in which they are displayed so closely together has made this more of a record of exhibts on view rather than good photography. Car descriptions taken from the Beaulieu Museum placards.
