A trip back to the USA was made in November 2018. The routing was London Heathrow – Seattle – Tucson – Phoenix – Los Angeles – London Heathrow.
All the Boeing Airfields were visited in Seattle, then it was down to Tucson where visits were made to Davis Monthan and yet another visit to the Pima Air and Space Museum. From there it was on to Phoenix via Marana, Eloy and Coolidge. After visiting the airports in the Phoenix area a day was spent at Sky Habor before heading for Los Angeles with stops at Buckeye and San Bernardino. After a day at LAX, the last few days were spent driving round the LA area visiting Mojave, Victorville and Van Nuys with a few smaller airfields thrown in.
All in all, a successful trip, with all pre-planned destinations visited. In this album you can see some of the photographs taken on this trip. The museum photos can be found at the following links:
